I’ll be receiving commission payments into my LLC’s business bank account, which has its own EIN. What’s the correct way to fill out my W-9 in this case? Should I list my personal name on Line 1, the LLC name on Line 2, and use the EIN instead of my SSN? I’ve also heard that for a single member LLC, you’re supposed to use your SSN instead of the EIN can someone clarify what’s actually correct?
