Hi all,

My wife is finishing fellowship and is looking at starting an LLC in the state of Missouri. She is also considering a part time W2 job here as well. However she is going to work locum shifts across multiple states (CA, HI, WA, TX, FL). Part time W2 income is $250k and locums estimate is $250k as well. I (her spouse) will be keeping track of her travel/expenses/taxes.

My question is do we need a tax attorney or “just” a CPA? And any thoughts on LLC vs S Corp would be nice as I’ve read a ton but still am unsure.

    Appreciate any advice.

Tax attorney necessary? Just a specialized CPA? Multi state traveling physician (locum)
