Like the title says. I'm not trying to have random unreported income, or lies on my taxes, and I definitely don't wanna lie to the IRS. I contacted her to try to see if the issue is fixable, but she's just covering herself now. Am I supposed to report her to the IRS? The biggest thing I'm trying to avoid is my daughter losing her SSI benefits, and my section 8 voucher. What are my options here?

What do you mean by “covering herself now”?
Go to a different preparer and amend the return.
