I live in SC & did my taxes April 15, 2026 for the 2025 tax year (I know I was cutting it close, but they extended it anyways). At first it rejected, then it accepted after I altered the AGI. I also filed electronically on TurboTax.
I was supposed to receive my tax return yesterday, as it says so in TurboTax. However, I have not yet. I used the IRS “Where’s My Refund?” tracker, however when I put in my info yesterday, it said it couldn’t find my information or I had something wrong (I didn’t). Then, when I tried again, it said I exceeded the number of attempts. I tried again this morning & it said the same thing.
I also called the number, but it said it couldn’t find me either. I’m incredibly stressed right now because I was going to use that tax money (as we all do), so if anyone knows anything at all or has any advice/tips/recommendations it’s greatly appreciated.
My refund was supposed to hit yesterday, didn’t, & now the IRS website “can’t find my info”

Im going through the same problem, but i was combining the state and fed income, i only was supposed to insert the fed income, also im still trying to contact them because it says my return was sent but my bank never received anything
Did you sign up for some sort of early refund-type product from Turbo Tax, where they advance you your tax refund for a fee, or did you opt to just get the standard direct deposit option for your refund?
If you didn’t sign up for an early-refund product (tbh I don’t even know if TT offers those anymore, but I remember they used to) then there’s no way Turbo Tax (or any other tax software) can know or state with certainty when you’ll receive your refund from the IRS. They might provide customers with an estimated date for the refund, based on average timeframes or trends, but a tax software can’t know or promise how long the IRS is going to take or whether there will be anything in the tax return that delays processing on the IRS end.
Once any tax software transmits the e-file and it’s accepted for processing by the IRS computers, the software has no further info on your tax situation and whatever is in [IRS.gov](http://IRS.gov) (same with state tax agency trackers) will be the info that you need to keep checking.
I got my 2024 refund of $215 last week after a year of calling and asking every 45 days… Good luck!
“Supposed to receive” according to TT is not reliable. ȚT has no control over the refund date. They only take a guess based on the 21 days that is the average time. Your return can be quicker or slower.
You should create an account using the id.me. Then check your account transcript. Friday is a big day for updates. And Saturday morning is a big day for the where’s my refund tool to show new updates.
