I'm a tribal member in Oklahoma living and working on the reservation of the tribe to which I belong. My exception was just rejected, along with other tribal members. I've been reading about the Stroble decision and I'm not looking to debate that.

This is my question: The exception is in the tax code for 2025. Even if Stroble gives the state the right to remove the exception from the tax code, I don't understand how the state can get away with not following their own tax code for 2025.
