How common is this? I know my routing number and account number were correct because they took state but not federal.
I paid through turbo tax and I looked through all the forms and I can’t even find a receipt that I did direct pay.
I did direct pay April 14 and it still hasn’t been withdrawn

In your title you said you used “direct pay.” “Direct Pay” is the name of a payment service that the IRS provides that has no connection to Turbo Tax.
Assuming you paid thru Turbo Tax, give it a couple of weeks to be deducted. Nothing to worry about.
This is very common. As long as they money is there when they go to take it, and as long as you provided the correct routing & account numbers so they’re trying to take it from the correct bank account, it will count as you paying on time even if the IRS doesn’t run the payment until after the deadline.
