Hey! I was hoping someone might be able to provide some insight into this, like how to prepare for next tax filing, etc. I work in GA but live in SC. Previously, my employer took out GA withholding from my pay, so I got a credit in SC for tax I’ve paid to GA. Now, they let us know that mid-year they will be changing it to withhold state income taxes based off the state of residence (in my case, SC). I’ve been trying to see if GA would reciprocate taxes paid to SC, but it didn’t look promising and I’m trying not to panic. Thank y’all for your help!

You can Pay estimated payments to GA and tell your employer to withhold 0 in SC taxes.
