Filed thru free tax usa and input all the info from the only 1095A form i was sent, but theyre claiming the information doesnt match what they have on file from the marketplace. I had marketplace insurance early last year, but cancelled it and that is the 1095A form i received and the information i input. i cannot find any applications from 2025 on healthcare. gov and only received the one 1095A in the mail. Did i somehow fuck up or is this an IRS mistake?
Received mail from IRS saying amount on form 8962 is incorrect and to send copy of my 1095-A, but i have no past applications on healthcare.gov

you got a 1095A for 2025 and input that information into free tax usa? Is so , make sure the number match what you put in free tax. If all is good then do what they ask, send them a copy
Are you sure you weren’t added to someone else’s marketplace insurance (like your parents’ plan)? There’s also a potential someone used your SSN.
You can call HealthCare.gov to confirm the only coverage you had was cancelled and you have no amounts to report for 2025.
