Kwong vs. USA – why is no one talking about this?

I’m a CPA, doing tax prep work primarily for individuals. I recently came across this case. There have been articles on some mainstream news sites.

Most clients don’t pay late filing or payment but a ton of returns have underpayment. Is anyone reaching out to their clients? I’m concerned if I don’t I will get blow back if clients hear from friends etc.
