Hi everyone,
I’m looking for recommendations for a CPA (or Enrolled Agent) who has experience with inactive Delaware C corporations, or to hear from anyone who has been through a similar situation.
    Here’s the background:
Formed a Delaware C corporation through Stripe Atlas in August 2025.
    The company never became operational.
    No revenue.
    No customers.
    No business bank account.
    No employees or payroll.
    No investors.
Essentially no business activity after incorporation.
I’m currently working with Legalinc to complete the Delaware dissolution, and they are handling the Delaware filing and franchise tax side.
My main concern now is the federal IRS side.
I realized that I missed filing the corporation’s 2025 federal tax return (the return that would have been due in 2026), and I want to make sure I properly catch up on any required federal filings and close everything correctly.
To make matters a little more complicated, the corporation’s mailing address was a mailbox that was never activated, so I’m also concerned that I may have missed any IRS correspondence, if any was sent.
    I’m looking for:
Recommendations for a CPA or Enrolled Agent experienced with inactive/startup C corporations.
Anyone who has dissolved a startup that never actually operated.
Experiences with catching up on missed Form 1120 filings.
Any advice on what I should expect regarding the IRS process.
I’m not looking for legal advice—just hoping to find someone experienced with this type of situation and to hear from others who have gone through something similar.
    Thanks in advance!

Is this a foreign owned c corp? Asking because your post was generated with an LLM.

This sub also doesn’t allow soliciting or recommendations to cut down on astroturfing
