V자 반등했던 국제유가, 나흘만에 폭락…WTI 25% ‘털썩’
Oil prices tumbled again on Monday,… reversing a rebound from late last week,… over fears that worldwide storage will soon have no room left as the coronavirus pandemic continues to erode demand.
WTI for June delivery dropped nearly 25-percent to settle at 12-dollars 78 cents per barrel,… after earlier trading as low as 11-dollars 88 cents.
International benchmark Brent crude also fell nearly seven percent to settle at 19-91.
Pundits say the market knows the storage problem remains and is on a calculated path to reach the top of tanks in weeks
OPEC and its oil producing allies finalized an agreement to cut production by 9-point-7 million barrels per day starting next month,… but many fear it’s not large enough to combat the drop in demand.
