What does your professional journey look like?

I am an IIT Bombay grad with 13 years of work experience, primarily in General Management roles. I work with Tech Mahindra as a Group Manager, where the use of technology in solving complex problems is a part of day-to-day work. Having closely worked with CXOs of various organizations, I understand corporate decision-making and risk management processes well. This has also led me to develop an innate knack for identifying & execute high-priority and high-impact work streams. Before Tech Mahindra, I worked with various other organizations such as Blinkit, HashedIn, and Solar Square Energy Private Limited. In the near future, I want to engage with new-age businesses professionally and develop more technology-driven solutions.

Why did you choose to upskill yourself?

While the hype around blockchain & crypto was extraordinary, I was finding it difficult to get my head around understanding how and why this technology was being put on a pedestal. With the aim of understanding the technology and pursuing a career in blockchain to develop some of my own blockchains, I enrolled in the Professional Certificate Program in Blockchain offered by Simplilearn in collaboration with IIT Kanpur. This course was my opportunity to understand the basics of blockchain, and the live projects were a definite attraction.
