In Europe, global warming has been a mixed blessing this winter.
Fears that millions of homes would be left in the cold have not materialized. It has been unusually warm across the continent this winter, helping energy tanks hold up. But, energy prices are expected to remain volatile for years to come.
As our Kam Razavi explains, while not good for consumers in the short term, the price swings are the “outcome” of an evolving global energy landscape.
