RUSSIAN Revenue from Natural Gas has EVAPORATED due to the Economic Sanctions. Russia is struggling to be able to replace the lost revenue as they do not have the Infrastructure to convert Natural Gas to LNG and it will take DECADES to negotiate and build new pipelines. In this video I look at the current situation for Russia & Europe and ask whether there is a risk that Europe could face Shortages in Winter 2023.

Yet another anti Russian comment from this liar Blogs. One would think he would get sick of being wrong. Last week he went on about the collapse of Russia’s economy — again. The following day Putin cancelled billions of dollars debt to Africa and millions of tons of free wheat. Then announced the signing of a contract to build a new 6,000 kilometre pipeline into China after recently completing another. Does this sound like a bankrupt nation? Blogs is a liar and a plagiarist he is not an economist. The country that is bankrupt is Ukraine but he never talks about that or the de industrialisation of Germany or the the 31 trillion dollars debt of America. it would be great if the injection of biogas (38% of total consumption in Denmark) were entered the equation. Germany and Netherlands and many more are making use of biogas to a larger extent and digester plants are popping up at an ever-growing rate. Due to the massive rise in gas prices, many people have changed their heating arrangements from diesel and gas boilers (those away from district heating systems) to heat pumps or district heating. Fortunately for Denmark, the Thyra North Sea gas field is coming on-line again this winter. Most of this gas will be exported to Germany and Sweden. Quick question: why is Britain not using district heating or at least not to a much greater extent? District heating from CHP plants is "gefundenes fressen" as 50% of calories produced are otherwise lost in the condensing process, although it does take a fair bit of investment, planning and construction? Besides the transition to renewable energy forms is on-going and will speed up reducing the use of gas/combustibles still further. Thanks, Joe, for your many valuable and insightful videos.
I don't know where you get your statistics from but they are NOT correct. Germany has it's gas storage level at 88% as of 3. Aug. 2023 according to the Bundesnetzagentur which is the official German federal agency responsible for gas supply and monitoring. Austria is at 88% as of July 31. 2023 (also an official source). France 76% 3. Aug. 2023. You spend a lot of time doing charts and bar graphs but maybe you should invest it in researching current data. If the data quoted by you in this video is wrong then it invites the question as to whether any data quoted by you in any video has any validity whatsoever.
What I find interesting is just how small our reserves are of the things we need to survive. The world has lees than two months worth of grains in silos. So famine could happen quickly if something bad happened to agriculture. Same thing with oil and gas. Collapse is built in. A disruption leads to everything coming unglued. And with this rapidly overheating planet it is just a matter of time.

Excuse ne, Joe; there was news a bit back that Germany had completed two, I believe, regasification plants in record time. Did those not come on like yet?
Loved the chart on natural gas storage. Very helpful to see the overall gas energy picture. But that chart and the rest of your presentation also show that the EU needs to seriously upgrade there LNG storage and possibly liquify some of the available pipeline gas also. Which would hire in many of the engineers and other portable specialists needed to build those facilities in Russia. Great blue prints are just a small beginning- those things are always full of revisions engineered as they were built. So I'm seeing more like 2033-35 before they may have realigned their pipeline system. It's also generally cheaper to build a new one rather than a big expansion of an existing one. Gazprom and it's "employer" have bought themselves a a very bad deal indeed. Even if they "win" in Ukraine.

Major German companies are investing 10's of billions to build new factories in China because the gas is too expensive in Europe. Millions The same is true for France. The loss of gas seems to be much more serious for Europe including the UK than for Russia. The Aug 2023 meeting of Brics will likely announce many new members. When a new a Brics currency is set up, many of the sanctions place on Russia will no longer have an enforcement mechanism. Europe will continue ot de-industrialize.
Gen4 and Thorium reactors should be built by those who import energy from cuntries who want to destroy them.
