Prime Time With Ravish Kumar – March 7, 2022: Ravish Kumar reviews the variation of prices of petrol and diesel in the country during the last 15 years against international crude oil prices. While India’s retail fuel prices have been lower than they are now even when global crude oil prices were high, the BJP government didn’t pass on the benefits of sharp drop in global crude oil prices to the consumer since it came to power. Also to be noted is the fact while global crude prices have risen significantly during the last few weeks, there has been no revision in prices of retail fuel, a reason that can be attributed to the recently concluded Assembly elections in five states.
