Where is this "Digital Wallet"?
Reserve of 0 percent , that’s nuts . No well managed system would even dream about it
Which digital currency do you prefer? One that is backed up by gold and commodities, or one which backed up by thin air?
This gives me flashbacks from the series Mr. Robot when Ecorp wanted to do the same with digital money 🤔
What about civil right and duty to resist government tyranny, should a given government go rogue? Without cash it will be hard to mount a legitimate resistance.
China already completed the trial of digital YUAN. How that will be used is interesting as digital YUAN will be integral part of BRI and digital supply chain. My guess is US got so worried about the digital supply chain that they are doing what ever they can to disrupt existing supply chains.

Super rich people will be very worry on personal income tax. What about cooperation tax?
Corruption can be traced on high level government ministers.
Can government just keep supply digital currency like printing fiat currency? What actually support digital currency by percious metals?

Even though you advise us for investing in gold and silver… With full enrollment of digital currency, if I sell gold coin, I will be then paid in digital currency. There will be taxes imposed on capital gains. There is no escape. Governments will have full power over our finances.
Anyway I pay taxes on salaries. Then I use that taxed money to buy consumable items. And again pay taxes on these items. So basically government is taxing me on taxed money. Now government wants us give away our lives for them. Keep working, and they control my money. I wish to save money for rainy days and retirement and to send money to relatives abroad, bsome luxury some day. I don't want to be answerable for my choices to government. Its my life. Let me live it my way.

Ha ha he said as it was though easy to do !. 1st they need a super computer which US does not have ready. All too superficial. Sorry not buying his analysis. All too bullock to me . He doesn't make a comparison with Chinese digital currency as he may not be aware of it to begin with .
Only way to understand this digital currency is through 2 way approach towards banking and have to separate domestic cbdc from international cbdc that way only possible otherwise again we will have a world war if the crisis looms or stretches further.
