사우디 감산 연장 소식 등에 유가 상승 WTI 2.59%↑
Oil prices jumped on Thursday after Saudi Arabia hinted it would extend its production cuts through September.
The Saudi state news agency SPA reported that the country’s production for next month will be around 9-million barrels per day.
Following this, West Texas Intermediate –one of the main global oil benchmarks –rose by about two-and-a-half percent to 81 U.S. dollars and 55 cents on Thursday.
Saudi Arabia has reduced its output by one million barrels per day from 10-million barrels since July.
Meanwhile, members of OPEC plus are scheduled to hold a meeting on Friday to review the situation of the global oil market.
