  1. Huawei makes terrible products. Not only that, it is a direct link to the CCP. I would much rather used an Apple or Samsung phone because at least my data isn’t directly owned and distributed by the CCP.

  2. China might become the biggest economy but at the cost of a billion poor souls that live in a hellish system that can punish you for the dumbest things. Clark I understand you can be critical of the U.S. but at the end of the day there is no comparison.

  3. China was always the world biggest player till last century so the US only dominated for such a small period in human history. Now that the BRICS are expanding I believe it is good for the US to know their place. It is better to work together instead of competing. I believe the US is using a Dutch company ASML for the conductor chip and forcing them to only sell to the US and not to China. Of course they will listen to the hand that feeds them. What a beautiful world we would live in without the telephones and everybody walking with a screen in their face. Implant what we need to use and interact more with each other.

  4. China has no shortage of talent pool to win the chips war. Note that both Nvidia and AMD CEOs are of Chinese descents. So are the big portion of engineers in the US working in semiconductors industry aren't "Americans", but instead various Asian descents, most notablly, Chinese and Indians. Americans can't do anything without immmigrants yet they are trying to blame immigrants for their social problems.

  5. That's just another piece of TOFU DREGS, copied shit…😮

The MAKERS don't even use it.

It's nothing but a propaganda piece.

Why are YOU shilling so much for communists?

WATCH the next time the CCP DRAWS SOME LINES, it will infringe on NEW ZEALAND's international territory…

You can take this as a forewarning if you will, but I guarantee you got far more Subscribers from the West, than you have from China…🎤💣💥🔥💯🤷🏾‍♂️

  6. Lark – lately you seem a bit depressed and redundant – a bit weirded out over the “macro stuff”. We need to be aware but at the same time pay homage to Satoshi – who foresaw ALL of this crap that will continue ad infinitum – politics and Malthus are not to be deterred but Satoshi rises above all (if we survive long enough). Cheer up.

  7. I think huawei is the only company who survived 6 round of US sanctions and just refuse to die. In fact quite the reverse Huawei is thriving with more capabilities everyday. Now it seems they can build their own Chips now. Incredible.

  8. Oh Lark. When you say BIS, we're all thinking Bank of International Settlements. But this is actually the Dept. of Commerce Bureau of Industry and Security. USA is the land of TLA's.

  9. China has more economic challenges then the US atm. Not as "Great China" as everyone is saying. Stolen cheap tech, bond, stock, realestate economic crisis, population collapse, civil unrest, more covid. Watch the shift downward over the next 10 years.

  10. Well, I can only say that everything the United States does is for China
I don't understand why the United States keeps trying to train China
If I want to kill China, I will use the fastest and most powerful means to kill your opponent quickly, instead of gradually increasing the difficulty and letting the Chinese accumulate experience and level up slowly.
    damn it.
In fact, the United States has no such obligation, and he was not hired as a coach in China.
Now the United States is not only a coach, but also a promoter.
Raimondo accidentally advertised Huawei. And Apple is also advertising for Huawei
Look at Apple’s LOGO. It was originally just an apple with a bite.
But Huawei’s LOGO cuts the apple into 8 slices. . . . God, don't tell me the deep state arranged this. . .

  11. The Chinese Mate60pro phone is about 10 years behind iphone technologically concerning the nanowidth of its chip circuitry. What should really worry us is Chinas ability to defend its own patch militarily if they take Taiwan. They can't yet successfully project war beyond their own region and may never be capable of that but they can win a war at home according to projections. This would give them all the chip tech they would need assuming the Taiwanese didn't destroy the tech.

  12. Chinas GDP is peaking right now and its Belt and Road project will presumably keep it up there for a decade or two more but this is the top for them because their population growth is now in decline. Their current youth unemployment problem is temporary and entirely due to the sickness disaster on businesses.
GDP may denote the size of an economy but by many other important metrics China is no heavyweight. Their stock market, bond market, currency and much more are very small compared to the US.

  13. As someone who's been watching you since early 2017, I have to admit that I feel your takes on China to be dubious, and at times I feel like you're either clickbaiting or fear mongering from an angle that I can only assume is an uninformed one. Your takes on China recently have seemed pretty bad, like BRICS… (it is simply absurd in almost every possible way, and nothing about it makes any sense) but to think that this phone is anything but embarrassing for China is astounding. The China Show had an episode on Friday that explained how this phone is an utter joke. China is getting rekt.

  14. Are you a free country? Isn’t Huawei 10 years behind the iPhone? Why can’t I buy Huawei phones in the United States? hypocritical! Let me tell you, the actual experience of Huawei Mate 60 Pro is no different from that of iPhone 14. More importantly, Huawei can make satellite calls! Satellite phones in China only cost $1 per month for 2 minutes of calls! Crash the iPhone. . .
