Did I Just Get A Fake Gold Bar is a video discussing the importance of buying gold from trusted sources. There are three types of gold coins I view as important to stack. I prefer buying bullion grade government backed gold coins like the American gold eagle 1 oz coin, gold buffalo, or gold maple coin. The next best types of gold coins to buy would be pre 1933 gold coins. The third type of gold, though I don’t buy this kind, would be buying gold bars.
Buying gold bars allows people to stay close to the spot price or gold price and pay less premium. But, gold and silver investing comes with risks like this fake gold bar. I prefer buying from reputable sources online and my local coin shop. If you are looking to buy gold now, be sure you buy from trusted sources and if possible, test your metals!
